Windows

We've felt something was missing building the house and after consulting the plans again we realized what it was. Windows. So we cut a few holes in the wall and threw in some glass and this is what we ended up with. Changes the appearance a little.

An Alice movie for Eric

As per a request from Eric, here is a new Alice the Soccer Dog movie, she isn't playing soccer, but she is learning a new trick.

The roof and some wire

Today I was blown away by the generosity of our neighbors. Last night Sam called up and down the valley telling people we would be roofing today. Most of the people he called, and even some he didn't, showed up to help. In all 11 people showed up to help. It's amazing what can be accomplished with so many! We got all of the porch done and the entire north side of the house. We also got some done on the garage and in a valley on the east side.

While this was happening our awesome cousin was inside, probably getting a headache from all the pounding on the roof, wiring our house. We are blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives! Thank you to all who helped!

Furniture

Finally, some pictures of the furniture that we got. Okay, so we don't actually have it, but it's what we paid for.

This is the top of the table (no, the plant isn't ours)

The back of the chair

Another picture of the grain. Yes, that is a leaf in the middle, with the leaf in it's 60x60)

A picture of the table with 4 of the chairs at it

This is our couch, pardon the dorky faces

Storage ottoman

The recliner that swivels and has a foot rest

The reclining/rocking love seat (you can rock each side together or independently)

A wide angle view of the set

So there is our furniture! Now we just need a house to put it in!

(isn't our little model just the cutest?! We still have to work on looking at the camera though)
