So Special

I do find it a little bit interesting how I can find my baby girl in almost everything...

Phone Call

She does get a kick out of the phone

Sam had a birthday

Although he is another year older, the man still has it!
The girl was sure that the presents given to her father for his birthday should be hers. In my defense of the choice of gift... Sam is a really hard person to shop for and he said if the kids fought over the Little People he could say, "No, actually they are MY toys". So there really was a reason behind the gift.

March Update

I haven’t posted in a while, it takes a bit of adjusting when you find out your baby has “violent food allergies” and you have to figure out what sets her off and what is safe for her to eat. Loveliness!

Anyway, here are some pictures of the fun things that have been happening to us lately.

Proof that she is my daughter – backwards is just as good as forwards for a high chair.

She is of the opinion that the recommended way to sit in a high chair is not as fun as all the other ways you can sit in a high chair.

While I was changing sheets I looked out to find this, apparently she can pull herself up to standing now.

She loves to climb around the kitchen chairs.

This is a few clips of some fun things she's been doing

Sitting Pretty

We sure love this girl!

Hmmm

I'm not sure if there is really anything to say with this...

Bountiful blessings

We were blessed this week to be the recipients of an awesome "train table". I'm not sure if The Girl will love playing with trains, but she is LOVING having all the blocks and things to play with. She keeps looking at us when she gets into the drawers like we are going to tell her she can't play with them. Then she just smiles and goes back to playing. We are very excited, even if it means we have to rearrange some furniture so we can keep it in the family room.
This was also my first week to participate in a program called Bountiful Baskets. I am so happy with it, I actually split a basket with someone, so imagine all of this doubled.
For $15, or $7.50 for each of us, we got:
20 brussel sprouts (I was given all of these from the basket because my friend already had some to use up)
4 kiwi
3 mango
6 apples (The Girl and I shared one on the way home)
2 cucumber
6 green chilies
4 green peppers
2 heads of living lettuce (which means I could plant it and keep it growing)
2 pineapples
2 cantaloupes
2 bags of tiny potatoes
2 heads of broccoli
6 bananas

Now I'm not quite sure how I'll use all of my half up, but stay tuned for what I'm sure will be delicious looking pictures.
