We've been having fun this last week so we thought we'd share an update. The Little Man is getting so fun to be around. He actually started giggling yesterday. It surprised me how low his giggle sounds compared to The Girl's first giggle. However, they both giggled around the same age, just days before they turned 3 months.
Something else that we have a lot of fun with is bedtime songs. A current favorite of our little one is The Hokey Pokey. Now this girl can't handle having a camera around without turning into a goof ball. She noticed the camera after I got it going, but because we weren't holding it I think she didn't realize it was on.
Yesterday, The Girl sure had me laughing! We were out weeding a flower bed and she spotted an airplane. She stood there on tippy toes saying, "Reach! Reach! Can't reach!" Shortly there after she tried to pull up a big weed, but it was too hard for her and she got discouraged. I told her it was just fine because in our family we can do hard things. A minute or two later she was back and hauling weeds saying, "Maggie, hard things" over and over. I don't know if I've ever been so pleased to have one of my "lessons" understood.
Wow do we love our kiddos!
