As we were talking about birthdays and cakes Sam said to me, "If you think you have enough frosting, just keep putting it on." Taking this VERY literally I made a chocolate cake with butter cream frosting that just about put us in a coma. Sam said, "I've never said there was too much frosting on cake, and I'm not going to say it now, but I wouldn't want more than this." So we have had super rich cake for almost a week and I for one and happy that it is gone.
He didn't have a lot of surprises on his birthday, but hopefully he felt the love we all have for him. Happy Birthday, Sam!
The Girl is excluded from these pictures because her current trend is to stick her tongue out in every picture, and trust me, it's not pretty to see a tongue covered in chocolate cake.
