Christmas

Since almost everything had to be played with immediately, it took us quite a while to get through everything...

(Why yes, that is Iron Man driving the track hoe...also featured driving a wooden tractor earlier in the post)

What a great day!

Cuteness

I haven't had too much trouble keeping kids out of garbage cans... Little Boy Blue might be a different story. This picture was taken before he was officially rolling over...

At least he has a good cheesy grin to help me forget when he gets into trouble.

Happy Boy

Well, at least one of us was still happy at the end of kid pictures and going to church!

Yes, these are sideways, but I'm not fixing them right now. Or ever for that matter.

Christmas Outfits

I like to have my kids kinda matching for special occasions, like Easter and Christmas. So here was our attempt at Christmas outfits for 2015. Not bad considering I didn't start thinking about it until Friday night, then got the boys dudded out on Saturday to be ready to go for Sunday. I did not make her dress this year, but the bows were mine!

Someone was still in a good mood after church:

Family Pictures

So in December we realized that we needed a family picture.

Little Boy Blue decided he'd limber up to get ready by sucking on his toes.
The Boy worked on his pouty look and showed off his two black eyes.
We actually did pretty well consider it was about 20 degrees outside and we were all freezing and trying to get going to town.

Put it all together with a little photoshop magic and you get...

Mr. Face

Well, for about a month this winter Sam decided to see if a beard does indeed keep a face warm. It does, but it's a little itchy. It came to the point that the best part about it was seeing how many looks we could come up with as it came off!

Here's before we started. Tommy looks a little concerned.

Sideburns and a goatee. Sam's not really the goattee type.

The fu manchu with a dash of smolder. Mary realizes what a lucky woman she is.

 'Stache and a soul patch.
 Down to the mustache.
I don't know if this is a cowboy mustache, but it would come in handy if Sam ever goes into law enforcement or flies fighter jets.
A month's worth of work. and a parting shot.

Temple Lights

This year before Christmas the children worked really hard to earn money so they could buy presents for each other. They each earned about $3 and we all got to take a trip to Salt Lake. We went to Temple Square to look at lights, stayed in a hotel, froze in the pool, got to ride the train down to Provo, and then go shopping. It was the greatest days of their lives...which will not be repeated for many days to come!
