Another few pictures

These are some other things that have been happening in the last few days...
A nap before church is always helpful.
This is the wedding present for the couple who got the glass etched present last week

What do you do with extra pink frosting from a pink castle cake?! Make coconut oil sugar cookies of course!

We love cookies!

Easter Egg Hunts

On Friday we went down to the Easter Egg hunt at the school. The Girl had so much fun!

The Girl LOVED the Easter Bunny!

The Boy had less affectionate feelings...
 The whole group

The slide is a favorite...for the whole family!

On Saturday we had an Easter Egg hunt at the ranch.

Outside

The weather was so lovely that we enjoyed a few days of walking, running, playing in dirt, and feeding the calf.

We sure love playing in brown stuff around here! It's not quite dirt, but at least it was dry...

The Boy was having a blast...he took a bit of a fall but that didn't slow him down much. This is when his face was wiped off pretty well, you can see the red dirt rash from his hairline to his chin.

The Girl was a big helper to Dad and Uncle Adam while they put in a new gate post.

It's great when we can spend some time outside! As I type this it's blowing about 20 mph and it's getting ready to snow...oh how the weather changes in the valley!

Lunch, Presents and Cake! Oh My!

So this isn't a picture of the birthday girl, but this is what happens when you give The Boy his own bowl of beans and rice...Yeah, he needed a bath after this and cake!

She loved looking for her presents!

This crown is a favorite gift from her aunt...it's been on her head a LOT since the big day.
A book that has 5 puzzles in it, awesome!
Pop and Grandma Carol came over for cake.
Of course she needs a crown in the hammock!

Morning fun

We had some fun this morning...

Cake time

For those interested, here is the cake as it came together.

Oh do we love this girl!!

Ranch Birthday

So we like to celebrate birthdays in big groups. Last Sunday we had a triple birthday celebration...The Girl, Loulou, and Pop all had celebrations. We jammed 24ish people into the kitchen. I sat "ish" because it's just so hard to count with so many people moving around.
The Girl was the first for candles, we shouldn't have done that because she had NO idea what to do. So after this we sang to Loulou and then re-lit The Girl's candles...she did much better the second time.
