Work It Honey!

I would like to preface this post by saying that The Girl usually does not go around in just her diaper. However, this was laundry day and when we were starting the wash I took her clothes right off of her and put them in and I just hadn't taken the time to get her dressed again.

Furthermore, as embarrassing as it is to admit that yes, we were doing Richard Simmons' Sweatin' to the Oldies, this was just too funny to not share. When we Zumba she is also cute, but this was the first time we'd done the Oldies and she really got into it. Zumba usually just gets a few claps out of her.

Don't judge. Just enjoy the cuteness.

The other day I looked over at The Girl and she was in a perfect downward facing dog pose (I think that's what it's called). I grabbed the camera but she was getting out of it as I snapped the picture. I'm not jealous, I just have to work harder!

Our handsome boy, I made a mistake by getting him ready for town too early....he ended up wearing PJ's to town instead of this cute outfit covered in spit-up.

St. Patty's Day

We started today with green eggs and ham...Sam was "too busy" with the cows to join us, but maybe he just didn't want the green eggs and ham.

These were taken after 3 hours of church followed by a nap...everything was a little rumpled.

Sam was being the Lay-Z-Boy, our boy sure likes to sit like this!

A Happy Day

Sam had a birthday yesterday and it was a memorable day for all of us. I started the day at 2:30 with The Boy who was having some stomach trouble. Sam started the day by getting a call to go pull a calf at 7. He was able to come back after that and have some breakfast, eggs, hashbrowns and cinnamon rolls. Then he was gone again and I had the kids. I thought I'd give a go at making a cake from scratch... Yeah, I spent the whole day nursing, putting The Girl on the potty, and making cakes. The first set of cakes fell and stuck to the pans, BUMMER! So I had to start over again. The plus side is that I can now make a pretty delicious dairy-free chocolate cake. We finally used the awesome candles that we've had sitting around for a few years.

Sam is the greatest husband I could ask for. It wasn't a prefect day, but it was a day with much more chocolate than usual, so it was a good day in his eyes. He is such an example and inspiration to me. I love you, Sam!

Guy Smiley

So The Boy learned how to smile today and I was lucky enough to have the camera at the ready. These were some of my favorites.

March Fun

We've been having a pretty great month so far. Here are some pictures to prove it...

The Boy's eye, I wanted a picture while it was still blue.

The Girl's eye - she didn't cooperate as well as The Boy, so her eye doesn't look as detailed.

 The Boy's "thug" look.

I was sick of seeing the same two dresses every Sunday so I made this one for something new.

Any time the camera is out now we get a very silly poser, but that's okay, because she is still cute.

Just like The Girl, The Boy enjoys sleeping on his daddy. Of course The Boy sleeps with his eyes open so it's super disturbing sometimes.
Sam got a Saturday off and we put up the walls to the shed, then he had a morning off and we put up some plywood. We are going to get this shop done sooner or later!

The Girl has discovered the joys of Patty Cake, the Hokey Pokey and the Snowman Song. This is just of Patty Cake.
