Although he is another year older, the man still has it!
The girl was sure that the presents given to her father for his birthday should be hers. In my defense of the choice of gift... Sam is a really hard person to shop for and he said if the kids fought over the Little People he could say, "No, actually they are MY toys". So there really was a reason behind the gift.

Is it appropriate to say, "ooh baby!"? We love Sam and miss him coming to see us. Maybe after calving.
We find that so many of the toys that the kids received as presents when they were Maggies age are now "ours". It just makes things easier.
