Birthday Excitement Part 1

Well, the girl will turn one this week so we had a family party on Sunday. She doesn't quite get the concept of a birthday yet, but she sure thought it was fun!

This swing was much more exciting when she had an audience of 13, especially the cousins who surrounded the floor in front of her. (Mom and Dad were holding the ropes swinging her)

She got some clothes for this summer...

...and this awesome ball! I don't know what the attraction is, but she can keep herself busy with this for a long time.

We had a fun time, she shared the spot light with her adopted "Pop" who has a birthday on Wednesday. She was in desperate need of a nap during all of this, but she rallied and handled herself pretty well for a one year old who didn't get a nap all day.
